After two months of intense work, the final event of the Industrial AI Challenge 2024 was held at the School of Innovation (SOI) of the University of Trento on the 11th of December 2024. Selected among projects submitted by five competing teams, it was Team LeMur’s project that won, earning first place thanks to an innovative solution in the field of industrial planning aimed at optimizing production processes and efficient management of energy resources through automated operation management.
The winning project stood out for successfully addressing some of the key challenges of modern industrial production, achieving significant results in four key areas:
- Optimization of machine cycles
- Reduction of human intervention to a minimum
- Operational flexibility
- Long-term production planning
The project, when finally implemented, provides significant operational and organizational benefits in terms of increased production efficiency, long-term planning, and simplified labor management for human operators.
With this win, LeMur not only celebrates success at the Industrial AI Challenge 2024, but also confirms its commitment to innovation and sustainability in industrial manufacturing toward an increasingly technological and efficient future.
LeMur would like to express special thanks to the team of students who cooperated in the realization of the project, emphasizing the excellence of the work done, which, although in the experimental stage, paves the way for a more modern IT infrastructure management, with the aim of integrating advanced management tools already in the possession of the Company.
