Mario Dorighelli and Thomas Klotz, respectively CEO and General Manager of LeMur Srl, have been recently interviewed in the 2025 edition of the magazine INDUSTRIA dedicated to the annual Trento Festival of Economics. The article highlights how, in a complex geopolitical context marked by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the reshaping of transatlantic balances, LeMur stands out as a virtuous example of a company capable of innovating, investing in R&D, and successfully expanding into international markets.
Core of LeMur’s offer is its unique, internationally patented technology for the production of silicone-based elastic yarns, which retain elasticity even at extreme temperatures. This range of materials, registered under the muriel® trademark, are the basis for flame-retardant technical fabrics mainly used in the military and security sectors, already adopted by police forces and armed services in Germany, Scandinavia, and Austria. Garments made with these yarns combine durability and comfort, representing a Made in Italy excellence recognized throughout Europe.
As confirmation of the strategic value of its solutions, in 2024 LeMur was invited as a speaker at the conference “Combat Clothing: Use and Innovation” held at WiWeB, the German Army’s research institute, where the Company presented its advancements in elastic inserts for technical military garments.
