On the 28th January 2026 LeMur Srl participated as a speaker at the Forum “Funktionalisierung 2026 – Technologien zur persönlichen Schutzausrüstung” by Hohenstein Institute, Bönnigheim, DE.

The event, organized by Allianz Faserbasierte Werkstoffe Baden-Württemberg (AFBW) e.V., Hohenstein Group, and the German Institutes of Textile and Fiber Research, was intended as an exchange platform on new materials, technologies, and applications in the field of shielding and protective equipment, as well as on future developments in textile functionalization.

Special focus has been placed on the latest innovations in fibers and yarns for personal and military protective equipment.

LeMur Srl contributed with its expertise and engaging in discussions on the future of advanced functional textiles with a presentation titled “Elastic aramid fibers in protective clothing”, focusing on the advantages of fire-retardant fabrics made with the elastic silicone muriel®-ts, for protective clothing applications.
