On the 11th September 2025, LeMur welcomed a delegation from Ferrari S.p.A., composed of representatives from the Research & Development team, the interior design department, and the customization sector.

The guests were welcomed to the company headquarter by director Thomas Klotz, who led the tour of the production departments, illustrating the recent history of LeMur Srl and the potential of muriel® silicone elastic yarn in various areas: interiors, exteriors, and engine compartments.

During the visit, the Ferrari team focused in particular on fabrics made with muriel®-grip—characterized by a unique feel thanks to their high silicone yarn content—and muriel®-lux, appreciated for the decorative effects that can be achieved in embroidery.

Thanks to its exceptional resistance to UV rays and high temperatures intrinsic to the raw material itself, the silicone elastic yarn muriel® represents one of the most innovative materials in the automotive industry and is the subject of continuous interest from the major leaders in this constantly evolving sector.

In this sense, the efforts of LeMur Srl’s R&D department are constantly focused on finding new technological solutions that can anticipate market requirements.
