On June 9, LeMur Srl had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation of some of the largest fashion companies from the State of Santa Catarina (southern Brazil) who are part of both the Association of Industrialists FIESC (Federação das Indústrias do Estado de Santa Catarina) and the SCMC (Santa Catarina Moda & Cultura) Association.

The Population of the State of Santa Catarina descends largely from Italian immigrants and in particular from Trentino, not surprisingly one of the main centers of the territory is the municipality of New Trento.

The initiative was promoted by Audaces Srl, the Italian branch of the Brazilian multinational that produces and distributes advanced machinery and software for the fashion industry.

The delegation of industrialists, who were in Italy for the ITMA in Milan, were guests of Confindustria Trento and have subsequently chosen to visit LeMur Srl as an example of well-established and solid Company operating in the same market sector, also in order to strengthen business cooperation between Italy and Brazil.

During the visit to LeMur Srl, CEO Mario Dorighelli and international sales manager Andrea Caronti illustrated the history of the Company from its establishment to the present day, describing to the guests the path that led, in just 25 years, a newly established local Company to grow and organize itself until being able to successfully collaborate with large multinationals.

The guests learned about the company’s traditional business activities, with particular reference to the production for the fashion market (hosiery and technical sportswear) as well as the more recent developments related to silicone spinning for industrial, technical, as well as medical and food applications.

Visitors, curious about the technical properties and the wide scope of application of muriel silicone yarn, vivified the session with questions and inquiries also aimed at possible international business cooperation.
