In an interview published in the weekly business magazine Nordest Economia Mario Dorighelli and Thomas Klotz, respectively CEO and General Manager of LeMur Srl, describe the company’s evolution and continuous growth, which led LeMur to reach a turnover of €15 million in 2025. This result has been driven in particular by the elastic silicone yarn muriel, which today represents a core element of the company’s technological and commercial strategy.
Thanks to its chemical and mechanical properties, muriel is used in highly specialized sectors, ranging from consumer electronics and wearable devices to protective clothing for police and firefighters, as well as advanced surgical applications. A strong customization-oriented approach enables LeMur to collaborate directly with end customers to develop tailored, high-performance technical solutions.
Looking ahead, significant opportunities are emerging in the defense, security, and aerospace sectors, where demand for innovative materials is rapidly growing. Through continuous investment in research and development and proprietary technologies, LeMur confirms its position as a highly specialized industrial partner in the development of functional filaments for next-generation applications.
