The commitment to sustainability as a positive daily practice has been embedded in LeMur's DNA since our very foundation, with an approach reflected both in day-to-day actions and long-term strategies.

Our Commitment

LeMur has always promoted a business model focused on environmental sustainability, social well-being, and ethical, future-oriented corporate management.
We meet our energy needs exclusively through renewable sources, combining hydropower and photovoltaic energy for a completely eco-friendly production process, fully aligned with our dedication to environmental protection and our responsibility towards our region.

We have taken concrete steps - and will continue to do so - to minimize the environmental impact of our activities:

  • Implementation of industrial waste separation.
  • Use of recyclable or reusable packaging materials.
  • Installation of individual and independent switches for each production machine.
  • Selective light management across all production departments.

  • Installation of a high-efficiency hot water boiler with an integrated coil system.

  • Optimization of production plans to reduce electricity consumption.

  • Elimination of fluorescent tubes in favor of reflectors to maintain the same brightness while reducing the electricity consumption for lighting to an half.

  • Installation of the first LED lamps in the new facility.

  • Installation of inverter-based energy optimization controls.
  • Use of smart floats in the cooling system to minimize water waste.

  • Purchase of new production machines with high-efficiency motors.

  • Acquisition of the first winder machine with an automatic spool-changing robot to reduce manual intervention in the department.
