Innovation and sustainability: these are the watchwords of LeMur, producing elastic yarns for the key players in the Italian and International textile industry since 1998. Beside its traditional business, starting from 2012 LeMur also introduced an innovative technology for the production of the silicone yarn muriel. This technology made it possible to extend the field field of activity of the Company beyond the fashion industry, entering the medical, automotive, aerospace, smart textiles, personal protection and other sectors. In an article in the independent newspaper “ilT” in occasion of the Wired Next Fest 2023 on 6-7 May in Rovereto, CEO Mario Dorighelli and General Manager Thomas Klotz illustrate the company’s commitment to constantly update its production facilities, with a focus on sustainability, an aspect that is taken into consideration for every investment. LeMur’s energy needs are in fact provided by Dolomiti Energia, which supplies green energy from hydroelectric power, and by the recently installed photovoltaic system.

On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the Wired Next Fest has landed in Trentino to celebrate the innovation that this territory expresses in a system of research, training and enterprise of excellence.
