On Sunday 9 July 2023, LeMur Srl celebrated with its employees and their families the 25th anniversary of the Company’s start-up.

LeMur Srl, which has been in business since 1998, employs around 70 employees, more than 50% of whom have been with the company for 10 years, and some even for more than 20 years: this is the proof of the stability of the staff and their attachment to the company, that has been celebrated with the presentation of personalised awards.

The celebration began with an open-day where employees and their families were given a tour of the Company, and the festivities continued at a local Agriturismo. During the celebration it was remembered how far LeMur has come in recent years, from the production of the first covered yarns for women’s hosiery, to muriel silicone yarn used by Apple (the world’s largest manufacturing company in terms of revenues) for the production of the Apple Watch strap. This is the result of various internal R&D projects that have allowed a medium-small company such LeMur Slr to become the official supplier of the Giant from Cupertino, and still continuing to research and design for innovative materials.

Between 1998 and 2023 we witnessed 25 years of commitment and dedication  to work, of difficulties of course (recurring economic crises, Covid pandemic, the recent war in Ukraine and the consequent explosion in energy costs) but also moments of great satisfaction in seeing a Business Structure that has been gradually growing with important investments to enhance ist production capacity with high end machinery and investments in terms of sustainability (such as the recent installation of the photovoltaic system which covers a large part of the plant’s needings, leading to the reduction of energy costs).

The celebrations were also attended by the President of the Autonomous Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti, native of this territory, who conveyed his greetings to the employees and acknowledged the work done to implement the Company, encouraging everybody to invest for the future of the families and the local area.

The Management of LeMur Srl strongly wanted to share the celebrations with all the employees together, despite the fact that the Company’s production structure, organized on a continuous cycle 7 days a week and 365 days a year, certainly does not facilitate convivial moments such as Sundays.

This day was only the first of a series of initiative to celebrate the 25th anniversary of LeMur Srl.
