On 22 and 23 September, LeMur Srl had the pleasure of celebrating its 25th anniversary together with long-standing partners and customers as well as representatives of the local authorities.

On Friday 22 September, in the splendid location of Castel Pietra in Calliano (Trento), CEO Mario Dorighelli and director Thomas Klotz welcomed their guests with an exhibition dedicated to the history of LeMur, which illustrated the company’s evolution from the start-up of Alafil to the creation of the muriel silicon yarn spinning plant, with a focus on the efforts made over the years in terms of the use of renewable energy and sustainability.

The exhibition was intended as a showcase to introduce guests to LeMur’s historical partners, companies of the calibre of Calzedonia, Falke and DMT, as well as new partners who have believed in the innovative potential of muriel silicone yarn, such as Theodolf Fritsche (operating in the protective clothing sector) and Apple Inc.

The day continued with a visit to the production site followed by a historical re-evocation at Palazzo Pizzini, an aristocratic residence located in the historic centre of Ala.

With this initiative, organised by the “Vellutai di Ala”, LeMur paid homage to the territory and its community, which in the past was distinguished and famous in Europe for the production, processing and trade of silk since the late Renaissance.

The programme then continued with an archery tournament organised by the “APD Kosmos” of Rovereto. The tournament, designed as a recreational and leisure activity, was also intended to be a pleasant opportunity for networking and creating links between companies operating in the same market.

The evening ended with a dinner at Castel Pietra attended by representatives of local institutions, including the President of the Autonomous Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti and the President of Confindustria Trento Fausto Manzana, who presented the representatives of LeMur with a plate commemorating this important milestone.

At the dinner, prizes were awarded to customers who, over the years, have distinguished themselves not only for the volume of their orders, but also for the continuity of their collaboration and the introduction of innovative projects involving muriel silicone yarn.

On 23 September, the celebrations continued in the name of discovering the territory of Vallagarina, with a food and wine walk at the ‘Borgo dei Posseri’ wine estate, during which our guests had the opportunity to appreciate typical products of the Trentino region.
