LeMur Srl confirmed its participation in the fourth edition of the ‘Industrial & Public AI Challenge 2024’, an initiative aimed at fostering the adoption of artificial intelligence in industry and public administration.

The challenge, organised by the Fondazione Hub Innovazione Trentino (HIT), brings together companies and young researchers from the University of Trento, with the aim of developing innovative solutions based on data analysis and machine learning models.

Within this project, LeMur Srl proposed a challenge aimed at optimising production processes and the efficient management of energy resources through automated operation management, supply chain and energy consumption monitoring. The main objective is the realisation of an automated system for the allocation of production orders, which is able to take into account crucial variables such as production time, electricity consumption and the production capacity of individual machines.

During an 11-week collaboration, a team of students and researchers will work on the creation of an advanced predictive model to support LeMur in optimising production planning. By integrating these artificial intelligence-based solutions, the company aims to significantly improve its operational efficiency, reducing waste and energy costs.

LeMur Srl’s participation in the Industrial AI Challenge represents an important step towards the adoption of innovative technologies in the manufacturing sector, reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation and industrial sustainability.
