From December 2 to 4, LeMur Srl participated in AeroSpace & Defense Meetings (A&DM) 2025, Italy’s most important convention dedicated to the aerospace and defense supply chain, now in its tenth edition.
The event, which took place at the Oval Lingotto in Turin, brought together more than 600 national and international companies of the sector and focused on topics such as sustainability and green aviation, lunar economy, advanced air mobility, and Industry 5.0.
During the event, LeMur Srl had the opportunity to present the elastic yarn muriel, the thinnest continuous silicone elastic yarn in the world.
The intrinsic properties of the raw material, such as biocompatibility, high adhesion, thermal stability, and UV resistance, combined with low-force elastic behavior, make the elastic yarn muriel particularly interesting for the aeronautical and aerospace industries, where the search for lightweight, high-performance, and reliable solutions is ever increasing.
Muriel offers concrete technical value for numerous applications in the aeronautical and aerospace sectors, such as:
- Aeronautical interiors: lightweight, flexible textile coverings that are resistant to high temperatures.
- Technical clothing for pilots: elastic inserts for suits and clothing.
- Structural textiles for aeronautical and space vehicles and modules, such as flexible reinforcements for lightweight components, shock-absorbing and insulating elements.
By participating in A&DM 2025, LeMur confirms its commitment to bringing innovative Italian-made materials to the heart of the international aerospace industry, strengthening dialogue with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and research centers focused on developing new technological solutions.
